Twelve-year-old Cody Parker can calculate complicated equations—but surviving Adventure Camp may be beyond his abilities.

After finishing dead last in a canoe race, Cody reluctantly joins three campers on an unauthorized hike to find a fallen meteorite. Instead, they discover an egg-shaped spaceship, two stranded young aliens, and a secret that could bring government agents crashing down on the entire camp.

The alien brothers need help getting home. Unfortunately, their damaged ship can’t fly, the first rescue attempt ends in flames, and mysterious men in black are searching the surrounding woods.

With time running out, Cody and his new friends devise one last, outrageous plan: build a giant trebuchet and launch the spaceship back into the sky. But when helicopters close in and the launch mechanism fails, Cody must trust the skills he never expected to need.
